I think a lot about how we’re given ADHD (or plug in your flavour of neurodivergence here) “life hacks” as a way to make us become a lot faster, more organised, efficient and productive.
I use some hacks myself. They can be pretty helpful sometimes…
But it’s never escaped me how “hacking” myself and my life is almost like short changing myself in a way. Teasing my body into thinking I’m willing to give it what it needs, but mostly I’m just tricking it into doing what I think I need it to do.
