Many neurodivergent people have spikey profiles, an above average ability or talent in a certain subject area or skill while (significantly) struggling in others. At the same time, we’re often forced to mask our differences with the aim of fitting in with societal norms.
I think a lot about how much brilliance is lost to this society because mediocrity is its goal.
